Now what will the conservative party dare change here, in Spain?

Marriage discrimination was banned in Spain back in 2005, when the Civil Code was amended to allow same-sex couples to marry. Now, extreme right-wing and religious groups have supported the PP (self-called conservative) in the last election in the hope that they will revert that amendment to discriminate same-sex couples again, despite that would go against the Constitution (its principle of non-discrimination). Funny how other countries are still fighting for it, while here some just want the good-old Middle Ages and Inquisition to be back.

Now yes, I know this post is not translated to Spanish, but about gay marriage in Spain and it’s legal struggles I already wrote back in 2005: El matrimonio.
